For this session your child will require: -
Writing Pencil
Something to write on (Scrap book, Note pad, Paper)
In our meet we used the map of our school to create directions from our classroom to somewhere else in the school. We used directional language, such as left and right to move around the map.
Now it's your turn! Use the school map to give directions from your classroom,
to the oval
to the music room
Make sure you use 'left' and 'right' when giving your directions and use the grid squares to show how far you need to walk.
Extension: Starting from somewhere other than your classroom, give directions to somewhere else on the map. For example, from the Prep playground to the PAC.
