In the class meet, we wrote a list of key words that we found in the book 'Plant Traps'. Some of these keywords are in the word cloud below.
Complete the sentences in the worksheet beside by using these key words (also found in the box).
Then read each of the sentences to check for meaning and show that you understand the key words and the text.

To make our writing more interesting we have been adding dialogue. Dialogue is the speech and talking that happens in our writing.
Now it's time to practise writing the sentences in between!
Print or copy one of the worksheets beside (page 1: normal, page 2: difficult). Write sentences between the parts of dialogue to connect them into a scene.
Remember to read the whole page first to get an idea of what is happening.
