In our class meet we practised making a graph.
Now it's your turn!
Create a picture graph by sorting things from your house into categories.
Then place the items you chose in columns or rows for each category.
You might choose to make: -
A family sock graph - Find out who has the most and least socks in your house by sorting everyone's socks into columns.
A coloured sock graph (picture below) - Find out which coloured sock you have the most/least/ same of.
A garden graph (pictured beside) - Go for a walk and collect items that have fallen from the garden. What did you find a lot of/ not a lot of?
A food graph (skittle graph pictured below) - How many different fruits are in your fruit bowl?
A button graph (pictured below) - What coloured button do you have the most/ least/ same of?
If you choose, you may use the support graphing template (beside).
Challenge: Add a title and labels to make your graph easier to read.
