For this session your child will require: -
Writing Pencil
Something to write on (Scrap book, Note pad, Paper)
Choose a jar of buttons beside to share equally among the gingerbread people.
One jar has 16 buttons, one has 24 buttons, and the other has 32 buttons.
Share the buttons equally first with 1 gingerbread person, then 2, then 3 and so on.
Use the visual recording sheet (below) to help you
OR
challenge yourself by recording your answers and drawing your own gingerbread people to prove your answers (below).

Extra challenging challenge:
Write the matching multiplication (groups of) sentence for each division.
For example, if 12 buttons shared between 3 gingerbread people gives 4 to each, then 3 gingerbread people with 4 buttons each makes 12 buttons altogether.
