Task 1: Sharing cupcakes equally

There are 4 trays of cupcakes.

There are 12 cupcakes on each tray.

Share each tray of cupcakes equally with friends.

• Share the 1st tray with 4 people.

• Share the 2nd tray with 3 people.

• Share the 3rd tray with 2 people.

• Share the 4th tray with 6 people.

To help you solve the equal sharing problems you may choose to:

• Cut out and sort the cupcakes on plates you have at home (easiest).

• Cut out, organise and paste the cupcakes onto plates you have drawn on paper.

• Draw pictures
