While you are listening, think about all the different rhyming words found in the book. Notice how the sounds are similar for each animal and what they sit on, even when the spelling is not.
After listening, complete the activity below by matching each of the animals to what they sit on.
Once you complete this activity, come up with your own! What other animals could be included and what may they be sitting on? See how many you can think of! What might ants sit on? Or a bunny?

Today we will be focusing on using commas, and what better way than to make a list!
Go to your pantry and list all the foods that you LOVE! Remember to put a comma in between each food to make it easy to follow.
Here is an example:
In my pantry... I saw some yummy rice crackers, LCMs, dried apricots, choc-chip muesli bars, seaweed snacks, and tiny teddies.
