For this task you will need to cut out the Olympic events and order them based on how long you think they would take to complete. Place the event that would take the shortest amount of time in the very left box then work your way up to the longest event.
If you are unsure about how long the event would take, have a guess! Some events may be very similar in how long they would take, it's up to you how you will order them.

After placing each event in order, write down underneath each one how long you think they would take in seconds/minutes or hours.
Using the online calculator beside or one you have at home. Answer these Olympic questions about duration and time.
The fastest lap in the Tokyo Olympics was 43 seconds. How many laps could this runner do in 1 hour.
Basketball games in the Olympics went for 2 hours each. If they played 5 games a day. How many hours of Basketball did they play over the 2 weeks (14 days).
Each Rhythmic Gymnastics athlete takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to complete their routine. If their are 20 athletes, how long would it take for them all to complete 2 routines.
