Task 1: Seeing light and hearing sound
Task 1: Seeing light and hearing sound
Hearing sound: At school, we have looked at how sound travels to your ears, and light travels to your eyes (see pictures below). Now complete this activity using things you can find in your house.
Step 1: Take a piece of paper and fold it to create 4 spaces
Step 2: In the first space, draw something you find in your house that makes a sound
Step 3: Draw an arrow to the second space
Step 4: In the second space, draw what happens to the sound next
Step 5: Repeat, showing how the sound reaches the ear
Now do the same for seeing light (using an object from your home).

This week we were supposed to go to Scienceworks.
Through following the link (beside) you can explore Scienceworks at home! Check out the exhibitions and get inspired by the range of family-friendly activities.
Next week, we will be treated to a special Scienceworks event! We will have an online incursion and get to watch the classic 'Blast off show'. We will learn about rockets and the sounds and lights in SPACE!!!!!!!!!
