Listen to Mr Morris read the non-fiction text, 'Exploring Caves' by Robyn O'Sullivan.
When we read information books we need to approach the text expecting to learn. When you read with curiosity and interest, you are more likely to learn and remember the new information.
After listening to the text think about what you learnt that was new for you.
Say back what you learned to a friend, family member, pet or toy. Start with, "Wow, I never knew...."
After, complete the word search beside. Save this work because some of the words in the word search will help you to answer the questions in tomorrow's reading lesson!
