We have been learning about different types of poetry. Today you are writing a shape poem!
Watch Mrs Geddes' lesson video beside (you can watch the other video as well, if you want more information). Then look at the shape poems below for ideas.
Think about a topic you would like to write about, e.g. cats, lollipops, soccer..!
Draw the outline of your shape.
Around the outline of your shape, write a poem. It doesn't have to rhyme, but it could! It is up to you. Can you include lots of adjectives?
If you can't think of a topic, you can use the worksheet below to make a shape poem about LEGO or robots!
