Before listening, ask yourself what you already know about planets. What facts can you recall? Look at the contents on the first page. Which planet are you most interested in learning about?
While listening, think about the similarities and differences between planets.
After listening, apply what you know about punctuation inside a sentence to read one of the below texts. Remember to read up to the punctuation, take a short break, and then read the next group of words.

Using the activity sheet beside:
Colour in the stars that have synonyms (words that mean the same) on them in red.
Colour in the stars that have antonyms (words that mean the opposite) on them in blue.

'Word Frog' and 'Step Right Up' are great games if you want to practice your synonyms and antonyms.
'Word-O-Rama' is a harder game that will challenge your use of these words with difficult questions.
