Read a story on Active Learn and choose 5 words, try choosing describing words or words you are unfamiliar with.
Use a thesaurus to look up these words and find out their synonyms. Alternatively, search for the words' synonyms online using the online thesaurus.

Play 'Word Frog': Word Frog is a game that provides practice in matching antonyms, synonyms, and homophones. The target word appears on the frog, with the word category underneath, your task is to pick the word that means the same as that word to feed the frog!
