I always like to start the school year by having everyone make a self portrait. A self portrait is a visual record of who you are right know. A self portrait can be a drawing, painting, photograph or even a sculpture.

This week you are going to practice making a self portrait. For some of you this is a review and for others it might be a new skill. Where ever you are, learning to draw is a skill that takes time and practice, the more you do it the better you get , so grab your art bag and lets get started!
