You will be recreating one of his most famous paintings, The Tree of Life, using gold paint and colorful paper and reflective stickers. Save some gold paint because we will continue using it in next weeks Art Project. Grab your art bag and lets get started!
Supplies
Black construction paper, gold paint, colorful paper scraps, gold, silver and white sticker paper ,sharpie, (optional) sequence
Direction
1. Using a brush and gold paint, start at the bottom of your black construction paper and begin drawing the trunk of gold tree, as you move into drawing the branches, create a swirl line instead of a staight line. Repeat this until you have completed your tree.
2. Let your tree dry completely. This is very important so that you don't ruin your sharpie. Using your sharpie outline your tree and draw repetitive lines and shape patterns.
3. Next, using your colorful paper and reflective stickers, cut out organic and geometric shapes to decorate your tree. Decide where you want your shapes and use your glue stick to glue it down.
4. Put away your supplies and clean up. Photograph to Artsonia and your all done!
