This week you will be creating traditional and 2d animation by making a flip book. You can choose to do either a hand drawn flipbook, use the free, flip a chip app or do both. Some of you have used this app and found it easy to use. Flip books can take time to make but with persistance it can be rewarding to see your images come to life. If you chose to use flip a clip, please export to google class. If you choose to create a hand drawn flip book, you can upload a short video of your flip book in Artsonia.

There are 5 Forms of Animation

Traditional Animation and 2D Animation . an animation technique in which each frame is drawn by hand
3D Animation. Animating objects that appear in a three-dimensional space. They can be rotated and moved like real objects.
Motion Graphics. Motion graphics describes moving or animated graphic design
Stop Motion.a filming technique in which successive positions of objects (such as clay models) are photographed to produce the appearance of movement.
