I like to start the school year by having everyone make a self portrait. A self portrait is a visual record of who you are right know. As you grow and change so does your self portrait. A self portrait can be a drawing, painting, photograph or even a sculpture. This week you are going to learn about one of the most famous self portrait artist Frida Kahlo and practice making portraits of our own.
