Masks around the World
Around the world masks are objects worn on the face, for protection, disguise and performance. We're going to look at masks worn for disguise and performance. These types of masks are worn in celebrations and performances to hide a persons identity and tranform them into someone else. Masks can be symmetrical or asymmetrical and can express different emotions such as happy, sad or anger. Grab your art bag because this week we're going to make expressive symetrical masks using only paper, scissors and glue!
