Valentines is coming up, so this week , I want you to get inspired by the work of Pop Artist, Jim Dine. Pop Art is an art movement which started in the late 1950's. It is a style of art based on simple, bold images of everyday items. Jim Dine is best know for his hearts using a variety of mediums.

Next, I want you to watch the 100 Hearts time lapse video below, then challenge yourself to create 100 hearts using differert mediums and materials. You can paint, draw, animate, work digitially, construct, sculpture, assemble, work outside or inside, its up to you. Post your favorite hearts on Artsonia.
