First Grade 

We continued diving deep into place value and adding and subtracting using our knowledge of groups of tens. 

i.e. Build 60 remove 20 or Build 50 add 40

Second Grade

We continue our work with adding and subtracting using place value concepts. 

i.e. We have 100 pencils and 57 students, how many left over pencils will we have? 

Students began their end of year assessments, they have grown so much this year as readers! 

We will continue to dig deep into comprehension skills and work on reading phonics features learned with fluency. 

We worked on writing the problem and solution to our stories, adding action, feeling and a lesson to stories. The students are looking forward to creating their 3D settings!
