A famous place in Iceland is a volcano that erupted in 2010 and closed the European air travel for weeks. Another one happened in 2020 and also closed the airlines. There’s a geyser that goes off every 5-10 minutes. The Vatna Glacier is an ice field. The ice is an average of 3,000 feet thick.
Tourists come to see spas, hot springs and waterfalls, and to go whale watching. They also have lagoons. Iceland has 270,000 tourists every year.
