Essential Skills Test

What is it? A cumulative end of the year test that will assess students on the essential skills they need to have mastered as 5th graders to ensure a strong foundation for pre-algebra in the 6th grade.

When is it? The test will be given over two days: Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th. If you know you will not be here on one or both of those days, please make arrangements with your teacher AHEAD of time to take it at another time.

How can I prepare for this test?
Create and stick to a study plan
Organize all study materials in your BLUE ESSENTIAL SKILLS TEST FOLDER.
Identify the skills you need to work on the most using your pretest and list of skills
Use the advised study ideas outlined in your materials packet
Attend tutorial
Prepare AHEAD OF TIME- do not wait until the last minute to study for this test.
