Logging in for the first time
Getting set up in GoGuardian is quick, straightforward, and easy. Simply follow these steps to get started!
Navigate to teacher.goguardian.com.
Sign in by clicking the "Log in with Google" option.
You might have to allow access to certain features on your first login.
And you're in!
You'll have to set up your classes when you first get in. Continuing forward these will simply be available on your classrooms page.
To set up your classes for the first time, you'll need to accept the pending courses to your account.
Once logged in, select "Classrooms" from the navigation menu (if not already selected).
Select the "Pending" tab from the list that appears on the left.
Then, select "Accept" under each classroom's badge.
From now on, you can access your classrooms from the "Active" tab.
Important note: Check your class section numbers!
Your classrooms in GoGuardian are automatically updated using Clever (which uses Synergy rosters) - the class numbers you see on each badge should match your Synergy class section ID on your seating charts and rosters. If they don't match, you might be looking at an archived course. Don't add those to your active classes.
