We are pleased to welcome you to the new school year and present the Moosletter, your source for information about Red Hill events, student learning, news from our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and more. The Moosletter is published by the Red Hill Front Office and will come out every Wednesday.
First Day of School: Wednesday, August 21st (7:45 - 2:30)
Open House We are thrilled to invite you to our Open House on Monday, August 19th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This event is a great opportunity for families to meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, and get familiar with the school environment.
Transportation: For parents driving their children to school, morning drop-off begins at 7:45 AM. School starts promptly at 7:55 AM, so please ensure your child arrives with plenty of time to settle in. For students taking the bus, information about pick-up times and locations will be available on August 16th on Parent Portal. For information about Parent Portal, click here.
Supplies: At Red Hill, all school supplies will be provided. We invite families to send their child with a backpack and a water bottle (optional). If you need assistance obtaining a backpack, please don't hesitate to contact the front office; we are here to ensure every student is prepared for the new school year.
Meals: For the 2024-25 school year, thanks to the Community Education Provision (CEP) grant of the National School Meal Program, all students would like a meal will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch every day. No action or application is needed. Meals must include a fruit or vegetable. Students will use their 5-digit lunch number in the cafeteria. Click here to see the school menu.
After School Childcare: If you need child care after school, Red Hill families have two options: EDEP and the Boys and Girls Club. Please note that the Boys and Girls Club is currently full, so please check with us for updates. Students enrolled in EDEP will remain at Red Hill, while the Boys and Girls Club offers off-site care at their Scottsville location with transportation provided. Both programs offer engaging activities and a safe environment for your child. For more information about cost and how to sign up for these programs, click here:
