All HotSauce systems run off of a SERVER computer. The SERVER is where we keep and maintain the system database (for more information on your database, click here for SQL documentation). All POS computers must be able to communicate with the SERVER computer in order to run HotSauce software.
Once the Server is online and connected to the Hotsauce Router we need to install Teamviewer
First have the installer open “download Teamviewer” from the desktop
If the app is not there go to the internet browser and go to hotsauce123.com
Ask the installer to look at the top right corner they will see a blue arrow pointing down
press and it will open a window to open the download
Install Anydesk Click here to download
If there is not Address number make sure the Date and time are correct in the PC
Password for Anydesk is HotsauceAnydesk9
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK USE THE FILE
If error installing this way download this install file and run it using anydesk to remote in
This will disconnect you from the Server/POS, but will give you an option to wait for partner make sure to press wait for partner button

3. Run config tool found under the UPGRADE folder.
Or on the preinstall folder
Once is run it will ask for to allow this app to make changes click yes
Then it will pop a new window were you can add the IP Address chosen if this pc is going to be a server or an Workstation. On number of stations the Server is always the highest number for example if a merchant has 3 stations and a server the server will be #4.
The IP of the server is 192.168.9.100 for the POS1 192.168.9.101, POS2 192.168.9.102 the number just increases depending on the POS amount the merchant has. use the picture as reference.
Credit cards settings if for EVS it will copy the number you added on Workstation number if they have EMV add the number and check EMV then save
After this Restart the PC for the changes to take effect
Copy the Database for the merchant to the Backup folder under the Hotsauce folder
This is how it should look like
Select task and then detach
This will open a new window check the drop and then press ok at the bottom right
Look for the file were we drop the .bak file
hotsauce> Data > Backup> and chose the “hotsauce.bak file”
Under the hotsauce folder look for the hotsauce - configuration setting file.
First section should match below.
[DataBasePaths]
SQL_SERVER=server\sqlexpress (this is the way for all POS)
Or
SQL_SERVER=192.168.9.100\sqlexpress (this is the way for all POS)
For the Catalog this needs to point to the database name
catalog =hotsauce
dbserver=sql2005
For Cash Drawer and Bar Stations
BarStation=N (bar drinks will print) BarStation=Y (bar drinks DO NOT print)
Get the newest upgrade from the Drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p4SjdWdOWM7Afb51xU2qkwT81_7E70Qz?usp=sharing place the file under the upgrades folder in hotsauce folder
Then right click and run as administrator
6. License FOH and BOH
( if not slim server. this is the same for all workstation)
Open HSBackOffice
Once logged in go the HotSauce Tab in the top left again you will notice more options
Go to System > System Config
In the general tab fill up the Main Information that corresponds to the Merchant
Go to the Credit Card / ECards Setup under Core System
This will ask you to put a password ( The password is provided By Hotsauce Trainer) Press OK

This Will be set on all Workstations
We need to make sure that the time Zone is set correctly. Look for the time, at the bottom left of the screen right click on the time and a new window will appear
Now to Change the Resolution (This does not need to done if slim server)
Right Click anywhere on the desktop where there is free space a new window will appear
IMPORTANT.Create Archives by making a sale for 0 dollars and closing business day
The BTP- M300 is a network Printer. This printer is already installed in the new image, but we need to make sure to change the IP in the printer. First we need to make sure that the Printer is connected to the Hotsauce Router, then we need to change the IP address in the printer. Go to the start button on the bottom left of the screen type File Explorer
Once the test page prints out. Congratulations, the printer’s IP has been set properly.
Now to change the Name of the printers. Go to the start button on the bottom left of the screen, and start typing Printer.
The Printer KITCHEN, and BAR are already set up in the BackOffice by Default, but if we have to install a PIZZA, GRILL, SALAD, ect we need to set up in the back office.
Open HotSauce BackOffice From the desktop. Log in to Hotsuace by clicking the Hotsauce tab on the top left input your username and password, then press OK
