The primary advantage is to allow techs to quickly and clearly identify devices on a network when running a network scan while troubleshooting.

192.168.9.1 Hotsauce Router
192.168.9.100 SERVER Computer/SERVER Station
192.168.9.101- POS1 onward (POS1 = .101, POS2 = .102, POS3 = .103, etc.)
192.168.9.131- Chip Reader for POS1 onward (POS1 chip reader = .131, POS2 chip reader = .132, POS2 chip reader = .133, etc.)
192.168.9.200- Remote Printers (KITCHEN = .200, PIZZA = .201, BAR = .202, etc.)
