The Quick Service function is ideal for various scenarios, including customers who call in, delivery orders, or those who prefer take-out. This feature is particularly useful for fast-food establishments or businesses that prioritize quick service. It streamlines the ordering process to ensure efficiency and prompt service for customers.
Select the "Express" option to initiate the Quick Service functionality.
Select New Or When you select "New Order" within the Quick Service functionality, you will typically be prompted to choose the type of order. This step allows the user to specify the nature of the order, catering to various scenarios. Common options might include:
1. **Call In:** For orders placed over the phone.
2. **Delivery:** For orders intended for delivery.
3. **Eat Here:** For customers who plan to dine in.
4. **Carryout:** For orders that the customer will take with them.
Select the appropriate option that aligns with the customer's preference or the nature of the order. This customization ensures that the system processes the order correctly and applies the appropriate service parameters.er
Depending on the selected order type—whether it's Call In, Delivery, Eat Here, or Carryout—the system may prompt the user to enter specific customer information. This information could include details such as the customer's name, telephone number, address (for delivery orders), or any other relevant details associated with the chosen order type. Collecting this information ensures accurate processing and fulfillment of the customer's request, tailored to the selected service type.
The Quick Service functionality often includes the ability to take future orders, allowing users to schedule orders for a specific date and time. This feature is especially useful for scenarios where customers want to place an order in advance, such as for delivery at a later time. Additionally, it provides the flexibility to easily modify the order time if needed, accommodating changes in the customer's schedule or preferences.
On the Express screen, choose "New Order."
Select the "Call In" order type.
Enter the customer’s phone number in the next window and choose "Finish."
Fill in the customer’s details as necessary, then select the "Schedule Order" button.
To schedule an order in the future, click on the day, month, year, and time. Use the light green arrows to adjust each value. When finished, select "OK."
When all customer information is correct and you're ready to place the order, select the "Finished" button.
On the ordering screen, the left-hand side will indicate that it is a future order.
After ringing in the order, click "Send." This will take you back to the Express screen, where you can view the future order
By selecting the order, you can check its status and make modifications as necessary.
Choosing "Modify Order" and then "Edit Check" allows you to change the scheduling time.
Click "Future Order" at the top of the screen to bring up the scheduling screen again. This enables you to change the time or cancel the order altogether with the "Cancel Future Order" button.
