Last Friday we had the students take part in a wellness afternoon where the students got to pick sessions related to their overall wellness. We had a games session, a sopa making session, an art session, a healthy snacks session, a walk,. a laser engraving session, and a miniature task competition session. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun in the sessions and I wanted to thank everyone who was involved in running the sessions!
In the second half of the afternoon we organized a house competition where the students competed for points for their houses. We had an egg and spoon relay, and egg toss, a wheel barrow relay, a biggyback relay, a sponge race, and a tug of war contest. It was an absolute blast for those that were there. Thank you to the staff who participated in this and made it possible and a big thank you to the students for doing such an amazing job the whole afternoon even though it was a billion degrees outside!
On Thursday we had the playoffs for the tournament and the team that came out on top was the Dodgeball Busters; Ethan, Cole, Owen, Kale and Dane
Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to the winners who have secured some points for their house teams for next year!
