Over the past two weeks, 3A students have been diving into circle stories, inspired by Laura Numeroff’s beloved book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. We explored how each story follows a fun chain of events that circles back to where it started. Using alliteration to create catchy and creative titles like If You Give a Moose a Mango or If You Give a Cat a Cupcake, students brainstormed ideas, developed their story settings, and mapped out a sequence of events using our circle story planning template. They have been working hard on writing their drafts and are excited to finish their final copies next week. Once their writing is complete, they will illustrate their stories to bring their characters and adventures to life!
Students had a great time enjoying Grilled Cheese Day this past Thursday! As part of our ongoing "Nutrition Events," every student was treated to a warm, cheesy sandwich and a bag of crunchy carrots—lunch for all!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible. It was a simple and delicious way to bring smiles to our school community! 🧡
I’m so proud of our class for their amazing effort during the recent Spell-a-Thon! 3A placed 3rd for the most 100% scores—and the students celebrated this achievement with a well-deserved ice cream sandwich treat! 🍦
A huge thank you to all the families for your support and encouragement. Congratulations to the students for their hard work, focus, and fantastic spelling! 👏🎉
