This week, the students completed a One Word digital project as part of our New Year's activities. Each student chose a single word that they felt would inspire and guide them throughout the year. They reflected on their goals and aspirations, selecting a word that holds personal meaning. Using digital tools, they created vibrant and thoughtful designs that showcased their chosen word along with explanations of why it is important to them. This project encouraged creativity, self-reflection, and goal-setting in a fun and meaningful way!
This week, the students had another fantastic week of skating at the Dale Fisher Arena! They were excited to spend time on the ice with their peers and have made incredible progress over the past few days. It's been amazing to see how much they have improved in their skating skills. A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who joined us at the arena! Your support both on and off the ice was truly appreciated, and we couldn't have done it without you!
This week, the students created beautiful Blazing Banyan Tree art projects as part of our study of India in Social Studies. They explored the concept of positive and negative space, using black markers to draw tree trunks and branches, and filled the negative space with vibrant, blended colours. To add extra detail, students incorporated blue backgrounds and hanging roots. The final projects were colourful, creative, and absolutely stunning!
Congratulations to our 3A friends who flew to the next country by reading 500 minutes in our Amazing Race home reading program. Well done 3A readers!
