臺灣總督府製作,圓形外殼為皮製,皮尺主體為帆布材質,正反面分別為公分及英吋兩種不同單位。 本件皮尺表面均附著泥沙,故推測應為田間測量使用。

Measuring Tape

This measuring tape was manufactured by the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office. The tape is housed in a circular leather case, while the main measuring strip is made of canvas material. It features dual-unit markings, with centimeters on one side and inches on the other.

The surface of the tape is covered in mud and sand, suggesting that it was used for field measurements, likely in agricultural or land surveys.

巻尺（メジャー）

本巻尺は台湾総督府によって製造されたものである。円形の外殻は革製であり、巻尺本体は帆布素材で作られている。測定単位は片面がセンチメートル、もう片面がインチとなっており、二種類の単位を使用できる仕様である。

巻尺の表面には泥や砂が付着しており、田畑での測量や野外調査に使用されていたと推測される。
