principal's message
Thank you so much to our PTA and wonderful parent community for all of the appreciation you showed our teachers and staff last week during Teacher Appreciation Week. From the lunches, to the gift cards, to the very sweet messages and emails, we all felt the love. Thank you so much!
It's hard to believe that we are just a few weeks away from wrapping up another school year. These next few weeks are packed with learning, end of the year testing and fun! Please keep your eyes open for how we will be collecting Chromebooks, hotspots, library books and classroom materials as well as passing out the yearbooks.

If you would like to give us some information about your child and the type of learning environment you think would work best for your child, please fill out the following survey. Please keep in mind all of our teachers are highly qualified and will ensure a well rounded educational experience in their classroom. This survey will remain open until May 28th 4:00 p.m. This is optional and is no way a guarantee for placement in a certain teacher's class.

6th Grade Parents!
Dear 6th Grade Parents,
The 6th grade promotion committee is making plans for a special Drive Thru Promotion event for our 6th graders before they move on from Parkmont. It is hard to believe that this is their last year here. They have missed out on a number of key events that 6th graders usually get to have, and we would like to do everything we can to acknowledge and celebrate their hard work.
We are requesting the parents of our 6th graders for a donation of $5-$10, but any amount is appreciated. Donations will go towards commemorative gifts for each student, and remaining funds will help with the cost of the promotion. As final details will be dependent on parent donations and support from the PTA, the deadline for donations has been extended through May 21, 2021. This will give the committee enough time to put everything together before the event.
If you would like to donate, please contact one of our representative parents:
Ms. Barrientez- Yok Yee (yokp@yahoo.com)
Ms. Chon- Karen Chieng (karenchieng@me.com)
Ms. Oliver-Brown- Tiffany Wong (tiffhuynh@hotmail.com)
Ms. Radhakrishna - Chaitali Shah (chaits82@gmail.com) or Sirisha Gannamaraju (gannamaraju.sirisha@gmail.com)
Thank you for your support!
