Empathy is when we understand or feel what someone else is feeling. Empathy can help us to get along with other people. Watch one of the videos below to learn more about what empathy is.

There are so many books about empathy. Choose two books that are for your grade level to listen to.

Then draw or write what you think empathy means and how you can show it to others. No printer, No problem. Just write or draw your answers on another piece of paper.

When we have empathy for someone else, it starts with noticing. You can listen to or notice someone else's social cues.

Then practice a role playing game about what you can do to have empathy for someone else by choosing one of the activities below. You can pick a situation and tell an adult what you would do to show empathy or you can draw a picture of what you would do in the situation.
