Fun Friday!
Happy Fun Friday! This week, we learned about why including others is important, and thought about ways we can include others!
1) First, watch this video: We are All Different and THAT'S AWESOME!
2) Then, fill out this week's Reflection Form.
3) If you are looking for even more fun, you can listen to Miss Kempf's and Mrs. Moncada's read aloud for Read Across America Week!
1) First, listen to the read aloud of Giraffe's Can't Dance.
As you listen, think about how Gerald felt when the other animals made fun of him. What could they have done differently to make him feel included?
2) Then, end today with a mindful moment. Enjoy Go Noodle's Bring It Down - Flow Activity.
3) Fill out this week's Reflection Form by tomorrow!
Find your grade level below and complete your Second Step lesson!
Today, we are going to think more about inclusion and why it is so important.
1) Listen to Miss Kempf's read aloud: Chocolate Milk, Por Favor.
2) After you are done listening, reflect on the following questions:
How was Johnny unkind to Gabe in the beginning of this story?
How do you think Gabe felt when Johnny did not include him?
How did the other students treat Gabe?
How would you feel if you were Gabe?
3) Then, write a few sentences about how you can be kind to someone who is different from you, or draw a picture of you being kind to someone different from you. If you have access to a printer, you can use this worksheet.
