Fun Friday!
It is normal for families to change: maybe a baby is born, somebody gets married, or a family moves to a new home. Sometimes, it can be difficult to adjust when our families change, and it is helpful to talk to a trusted adult about how you are feeling and have coping skills that work for you.

Mindfulness Thursday
Sometimes, families face problems - this is totally normal! The way we work together with our family to get through the hard times and solves these problems make our families strong!

1) First, all grades listen to this story about a family that solves its problems: Life with My Family. As you listen, think about the ways the family solves its problems, and the way your family works together to solve problems!
2) Then, all grades watch the Problem Resolution Steps Video.
3) Then, Grades 2-4:
Watch this video about making excuses.
Then, if you have a sibling(s), check out this Sibling Solving Conflicts Worksheet. Print it out or use your own paper to answer the questions!

This week in Counselor Corner, we are learning about families. Families are people who love and care for one another, and keep each other safe.

3) Then, draw a picture of something your family likes to do together. If you have a printer, you can use these worksheets:
