1) Today is Mindfulness Thursday! Start off today by watching the Let's Unwind Video by GoNoodle.
2) Next, let's practice being Upstanders! Remember, an Upstander is somebody who adds their voice to another's, and advocates for themselves or someone else.
Grades K-1: Watch NED The Upstander: Go From being a Bystander to an Upstander. Then, draw a picture of someone being an upstander.
Grades 2-4: Watch What Should You Do? Ways to Be There. Then, read about this situation and think about how you can be an upstander. You can share your answers with someone nearby, write them on a separate sheet of paper, or think about them.
Find your grade level below and complete your Second Step video. This week, our Second Step lessons are all about compassion!
Let's listen to stories today about kids who made a difference by standing up for others!
