Media Arts is a broad term that spans many genres and forms of art, media and technology.
This pathway prepares students to apply skills that focus on principles and techniques for effectively communicating ideas to business and consumer audiences - both in digital and other formats. Topics of study in this pathway include: graphic design, illustration, typography, photography, packaging design, textile arts, digital media, photo manipulation, appreciation and analysis of various digital styles, construction and development techniques, marketing, as well as cultural and historical aspects and considerations.

Students enrolled in this pathway have the opportunity to earn industry certifications for free as a part of the program. This program also fulfills the College and Career Readiness requirements for many of our graduates.
Adobe Photoshop Industry Exam
Adobe Illustrator Industry Exam
Adobe InDesign Industry Exam
Upon successful completion of three, you become an official "Adobe Certified Associate."
