Job Desription

Art Directors take responsibility for the visual styling of entertainment and media. This can include anything from a movie to the package for a product sold in stores. As just one person, art directors are not necessarily responsible for the creation of every artistic element of a production, but rather they oversee the production as a whole. For example, when working on a movie, an art director may help to design the look and feel of props, but may not necessarily build every single one on their own.
