Video game testers are gaming experts who test video games during the initial development stage. Their job is to detect any bugs or glitches in the game before it goes to market. Video game testers are also required to complete all stages of a game, explore every level, and recommended extensions or game modifications.
The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that employment for software developers, including testers, will grow by 22 percent, much faster than the average for all careers, through 2029.
