Every little thing you change will help! Eventually, more people will follow and every change will have a huge impact!
For example:
- Eat less/no meat products
- Put a limit on how long you shower
- Do as much as you can by foot, bike or train
- Don’t spend a lot of money on very expensive clothes
- Let online ordered packages bring to a collecting point instead of driving through the whole country
- Recycle
- Don’t throw food away
- Separate different sorts of waste
- Don’t go by plane!
- Wear a warm sweater, instead of putting the heater high
- Decrease your use in plastic, especially the plastic you only use ones and then throw away: no plastic straws anymore!
- Use LED lighting or CFL bulbs
- Turn off your lights when you leave a room
- Turn off your devices at night
- Take stairs over the elevator
- Don’t use plastic bags for grocery shopping
- Stop buying bottled water, use a bottle you can use over and over again
- Support fashion brands that are ethical and environmentally conscious
- Go paperless as much as you can!
- Close your water tape whilst brushing your teeth
- Use rechargeable batteries
- Donate your old devices, clothes etc. to whatever institutions
- Eat less meat, go vegetarian like twice a week!
