S6 & S7 IB Diploma Programme

The standard offer is that students choose one course from each of the following subject groups: Studies in Language and Literature (Language A), (Group 1); Language Acquisition (Language B), (Group 2); Individuals and Societies (Group 3); Sciences (Group 4); Mathematics (Group 5); and either one subject from The Arts (Group 6) or one further subject from Groups 1-4. They should select 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL). Occasionally a student may take 4 Higher Level subjects and 2 Standard Level subjects, or a 7th (SL) subject. 

If taking a Language A Literature course in the School-Supported-Self-Taught programme this will generally be taken as a 7th subject (recent Literature candidates have taken Danish, German, Italian, Polish and Swedish).
