Week 9

Learning Intention:

Students will aim to create a pencil drawing of an animal of their choice.

Choose an animal that you love and that resonates with you.

Making and creating steps.

- Please watch the video link first.

- You will sketch the animal in your Art sketch book.

- Draw the outline of your chosen animal using lines to create the shapes.

- When colouring your animal think about using hatching or cross hatching as mentioned in the video link. Also think about how you can create tone in your work. Think about how you can add texture to your animal.

- You can use grey lead, coloured pencils, water colour paints or whatever you choose to add colour.

Success Criteria:

I can create an animal drawing using grey lead pencil.

I can demonstrate and understanding of shape, form and texture in my work.
