Art – Week 10 - Art & Action activity
Remember you are all amazing, curious and creative artists.
Learning Intention:
Students will to aim to create a background made from paper with circles cut out of it, to fly paper planes through.
Success Criteria:
I can: create a paper background
I can: create a paper plane
Materials
· Paper
· Newspaper or magazines
· Sticky tape
· Textas and pencils
· Scissors
Making and Creating steps
Please watch the video first.
· Lay eight pieces of paper flat and carefully sticky tape them together. If you don’t have white paper use, wrapping paper, newspaper or coloured paper.
· Draw a design over the front of the paper. A design of your choice.
· Trace 5-6 circles on the front of the paper. Make sure they are big enough to fly a paper plane through.
· Cut the the circles out.
· Make a paper plane and decorate it.
· Sticky tape your paper background to an open door way and fly your planes through the holes.
· Place points under each circle to see who can fly the paper plane through the most holes.
