Learning Intention:
Students will aim to learn how to create a colour wheel using household objects and toys.
They will aim to create a circle of red, blue, yellow, primary colours and green, orange and purple the secondary colours. When they complete this activity students can create a drawing of a rainbow, flowers and butterflies using primary and secondary colours.
Success Criteria:
I can create a colour wheel using household items.
I can create a drawing using primary and secondary colours.
Making & creating steps
- Gather household items to create a colour wheel.
- You are welcome to use toys, clothes, socks, kitchen utensils, sporting items etc.
- Once you have completed your colour wheel, create a landscape drawing of a rainbow, butterflies and flowers, using the colours from the colour wheel.
