Art underground house drawing
Remember you are all amazing, curious and creative artists.
Learning Intention:
Students will aim to create a collage and drawing of an underground home. The background paper can be any colour you have. You may also use magazines or newspaper for this.
Investigate some trees you may like to draw.
- What tree did you choose?
- Why did you choose that tree?
- What do you know about trees?
- Do you think trees are important? Why? Why not?
- Do you have a favourite tree in your back garden?
Making and creating steps.
- You can use magazines, texta, pencil and paint to create this artwork.
- First draw a tree. I would draw the tree somewhere in the middle of the page, so you would have enough room underneath the tree to draw your underground home. - You can draw as many rooms as you like.
- Let your imagination go wild. You could have slides or water slides connecting the rooms.
- You could have a room full of trampolines or a room full of balls.
- You are welcome to cut any images you like out of magazines and include them in your artwork.
- You could have a room made of feathers so every time you went in there it was somewhere soft and comfortable to sit.
- Go wild with your imaginations.
- Have fun.
Success Criteria:
I can create a home an underground home.
I can colour and draw detail.
