Learning Intention
Students will use an egg carton to create either a self-portrait (themselves) or a portrait of another person who inspires them.
Success Criteria
· I can recycle an egg carton to create a portrait.
· I can plan and position facial features so they are realistic and in proportion
Creating steps
· Open up an egg carton and cut the top section away so that you have 2 sections.
The flat section will be the face and you will use the bumpy egg sections for the features of the face (eyes, nose, mouth)
· Cut the bumpy sections and place them on the flat section for eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth and ears. Secure these with clear tape.
· Use textas, coloured paper, fabric and wool to complete the portrait.
