Learning Intention

Students will aim to create a collage depicting their favorite leisure time activity

Success Criteria

I can: create a background

I can use newspaper to create a collage scene

Creating steps

· Have a think about your favorite thing to do on a weekend or holiday (this could be sewing, playing football, scouts, sailing, reading, gardening, fishing etc)

· Using coloured paper or pencils or textas, create a background

· Use newspaper to cut out the features in your composition. All parts of the picture are to be created with newspaper

· Once you have cut your shapes out and positioned them on the background, glue them onto your page

· Paper

· Textas, coloured pencils

· Scissors

· Glue

· Newspaper
