How to Clean Your Chromebook
Use a Microfiber cloth to dry clean your screen.
Use an antibacterial wipe to clean the keyboard and Chromebook case.
Use a computer lens specific wipe for the screen.
NEVER use antibacterial wipes on the screen.
NEVER use bleach products on the screen.
NEVER spray cleaner directly onto the Chromebook.
Clear Browsing Data to Keep Chrome Running Smoothly
Steps
Expand the Chrome Menu (3 vertical dots in the upper-right corner).
Hover over More Tools.
Click Clear Browsing Data.
In the pop-up window, set the Time Range to All Time.
Click Clear Data.
Repeat as needed. (We recommend making this a weekly habit.)
SHUT DOWN, THEN RESTART OCCASIONALLY
Different from just Signing Out or the Chromebook , Shutting Down and Restarting allows Chrome OS to update! Once you sign out, there will be a Shut Down button in the lower-left corner and a shut down button within the settings pop-up window in the lower-right.
