Advanced: Modify the Shareable Link
Set your sharing permissions to ‘edit,’ then copy the link.
Modify the link’s ending. Replace /edit with:
/preview
/template/preview
/copy (like going to the copier; give everyone their OWN copy of the file)
/export?format=pdf (Docs and Sheets)
/export/pdf (Slides and Drawings)

SHARED Drives
Main Differences between Shared Drives and My Drive:
Ownership: Shared Drives and files are owned by the team, not individuals.
Sharing Permissions: Shared Drives have slightly different sharing permissions from My Drive.
Link-Share Settings: You cannot make a Shared Drive file “Public,” but you can turn-on link-sharing for visibility outside the team.
Appearance: Shared Drives allow you to choose a header/theme.
Canvas Note: Content from Shared Drives cannot embed within Canvas.
Roles (Types of Members)
Manager (was “Full access") - can do everything, including adding/removing members
Content Manager (new as of Oct. 2018, and the default role for new members of the Team Drive) - can edit, reorganize, and delete content, but cannot modify Team Drive membership
Contributor (was “Edit access”) -
Commenter (was “Comment access”)
Viewer (was “View access”)
