SHARED Drives

Main Differences between Shared Drives and My Drive:

      • Ownership: Shared Drives and files are owned by the team, not individuals.

      • Sharing Permissions: Shared Drives have slightly different sharing permissions from My Drive.

      • Link-Share Settings: You cannot make a Shared Drive file “Public,” but you can turn-on link-sharing for visibility outside the team.

      • Appearance: Shared Drives allow you to choose a header/theme.

      • Canvas Note: Content from Shared Drives cannot embed within Canvas.
