Staff are invited to self-enroll in the online resources course designed to help EPS STUDENTS get started using Canvas.
You will be prompted to enter your username (your 3-by-4) and your password. (Your Canvas password is the same as your network password.)
Participate in this self-paced course to learn about Canvas Quizzes.
The quizzing tool in Canvas ("Quizzes") allows the teacher to create assignments that can be graded by Canvas. Don't just think of Canvas Quizzes as a "quiz," "exam," "assessment," or "test;" it can be anything! The teacher sets the correct answer and Canvas grades it automatically! Quizzes can also be used for surveys- collect data without designating a correct answer. Teachers might use Quizzes to create homework problems, mastery-checks, or unit reviews. In addition to grading for the teacher, students can receive instant feedback after they submit a "Quiz." The Canvas Quizzes tool allows for multiple question types (e.g., multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, essay, matching, etc.), randomized questions, and feedback options. Quiz settings also allows for the customization of things like the number of attempts a student may submit, time limits, and the display of correct responses and feedback from the instructor.
