23-24 Grading Window Dates

Infinite Campus is a student information system (SIS), which is where you will find your classes, take attendance, post grades, send messages, etc. Infinite Campus Community provides a single sign-on access from your Infinite Campus District Account to the knowledge base, forum discussions, learning tools, support site, upcoming events and more.

Teaching Center:

The Teaching Center provides a hub for a variety of common teacher tasks. Current day attendance and assignments to be scored are sorted by period. Access to additional tools are available for teachers in districts with Campus Learning.

Did you know that you can group your students in I.C.?

Student Groups can be used to sort students into smaller learning groups within a section. You can then assign assignments to only the students in a specific group.

Creating & Scoring Assignments:

Access assignments in various places throughout Instruction, including the Grade Book, Assignment Overview, or Assignment List. Regardless of what tool you're in, the editor looks the same.  Assignments are scored in the gradebook.

Standards Based Grading - 3rd & 4th Grade

Standards-based grading (SBG) focuses on evaluating students' mastery of specific learning standards or objectives rather than just their overall performance in a subject. It breaks down the curriculum into clear and specific learning objectives or standards. Teachers assess students' performance on each of these standards separately, providing targeted feedback and grading based on how well students have demonstrated their understanding or proficiency in each area.

Posting Grades:

Posting grades copies the grades entered in the Grade Book to students' Grades tab. This is also the grade that posts to the students' Progress Report/Final Report Card and Transcripts.

This is performed at the end of a term. Once the grading window is closed, a teacher will not be able to make any changes to the student's grade.

Did you know that you can easily copy your curriculum in I.C.?

The Curriculum Copier allows teachers to copy curriculum items, such as assignments, from one of their sections to another. This tool can be especially useful at the beginning of the school year to copy last year's class materials to the new year. Use the Duplicate option to make copies of individual curriculum items.

Flagged Assignments Report:

The Flagged Assignments report in Campus Instruction allows you to view assignments for students in the selected section that have been flagged in the Grade Book as Missing, Incomplete, Late, Turned In, or Exempt. This report queries all sections that the selected students are enrolled in, including those not taught by the current user.
